Hello, I need career advice from more experienced surveyors (if parents, that would be great).
I have started a PT degree in Real Estate (it's RICS accredited). I work as a property manager, but was hoping to change career and retrain as a surveyor (Residential or Valuer).
Do you have any advice on how to enter the profession? At the moment I'm struggling a little bit, as it seems I get very few interviews for graduate jobs, and nothing in the end.
A friend I talked to also commented that's a very male dominated profession, and she thought that being a mother wouldn't help me at all.
