Small personal online business help

Hey everyone! needing some advice, i make personalised framed prints, like for weddings, birthdays, teachers gifts, quotes and song lyrics, that type of thing, generally anything you want printed I do it and frame it, and the look gorgeous! But im wondering, do you think there is a gap in the market for this sort of thing? I was thinking of maybe going online and setting up an eBay or Etsy shop... im worried I fail though, don't want to spend hundreds just to waste it all, is it hard to have a small online business, and would you buy personalised prints? I love them, they are my kinda thing but maybe not for everyone, please help with feedback, any tips would be really helpful. Thank you

Really not my kind of thing but others like them. My main concern is there are probably hundreds of others doing the same on Etsy already so how would you differentiate yourself?

I dont think the fees that Etsy charge are very big so you could always give it a go and see what demand there is without losing too much money.

@Willthewashingeverend wasn't sure about the fees, think I will have another look on Etsy! Thank you

@idontlikealdi your right, a lot of people doing it, I have bought from sellers in the past and the prices can range from small to large amounts, I like to keep my prints classic, modern, white or black frames and black and white print, black writing, and maybe a small picture like stars or a diamond
