My understanding is that you are paid SMP from your main employer and if you are employed / have a second job 15 weeks prior to the baby being born you can work for them and it wont effect your SMP.
Has anyone got themselves a second job more than 15 weeks prior to their baby being born so they can work some extra days during your maternity leave to top up your income? If so, what have you done??
I've been looking at NHS Bank(casual) jobs but not sure if i would be employed on the basis that i will only be available for 7 months between after baby born and my 12 months mat leave finishing?
