Just that really , I have been in my current role 9 months passed probation and have a permanent contract , but I really don't like the role at all it's very isolating and I've struggled with 90% of my work is done over the phone , previous to this job I was patient facing for 7 years ... I've ended up on antidepressants and I've been on the two months now and feel the job has a big part to play for the way I feel.... anyway I applied for a job and was fortunate to be offered it... £400 Extra a month and the same hrs I do now.. but patient facing and not at home ...down side 6 month fixed contract .. it's such a gamble ... thoughts ?

I'd take it. But I'd also bank the extra £400 a month in case the contract isn't extended or renewed.

Take it. No job is worth more than your mental health so you should definitely move on.

@Justmuddlingalong thank you , yes that's good thinking at least that would help if it all goes pear shaped...

@thisplaceisweird Im convinced the job now hasn't helped , although I have a busy role I feel so lonely and then I torment myself , also when I finish it's practically walk from one room to another to start the tea I don't get that little commute to file away the day.
