So I'm starting a new job on Monday involving training and consultancy.
I have experience of delivering training and I am good at it, but I have never actually worked in L&D before nor have I ever done a Training Needs Analysis (but I have a rough idea of what they are)
New employer has seen my CV and knows all my work and volunteer experience and qualifications (got an HR qualification last year but no HR work experience to go with it).
I have a meeting my first week to discuss Training Needs Analysis for clients I'll be working with. I'm worried now that they will expect me to know what to do and be able to do one.
Is it hard / easy to learn and pick up?
I'm very qualified and experienced but just doubting myself completely now due to this particular requirement! I was made redundant during Covid and before that had experienced workplace bullying so my confidence in my abilities is not what it was.
Any hints, tips, suggestions appreciated!
