Maternity pay help!!!

Ok so I work in a school, term time position and I earn £651 4 weekly.
I started maternity leave in the 23rd of July and I get 6 weeks at 90% followed by 33 weeks at 50% plus SMP.

Can someone help me work out what my income will be?
In July I got paid 632 (27th July)
In Aug I got paid 585 (24th July)
On Sept 21st I will be getting 638.
So does it mean after I've had the 6 weeks I will earn more than my actual wage? If it's half my pay plus SMP?

Help please.

maternity.money/ Is a good site for working out maternity pay. I hope this helps!

No, the amount can't exceed your normal full pay.

But schools can (or could 9 years ago) spread your school part over more weeks to stop it going above your normal pay but you get the amount. I never understood. While on Mat leave I didn’t have childcare costs so my takehome was £400 extra per month… obviously after mat leave my childcare increased (especially as I had twins so 3 in childcare).
