I recently started a new job. The company is relatively new and growing fast. We all work remotely and just get together once a month for a face to face meeting. They've completely embraced the fact that remote working is the future. The job I do now is as a business development manager and I couldn't be happier. I've been able to carry on following a career I love instead of finding something purely to fit in around being a mum, WITHOUT sacrifice or feeling guilty. The world is changing. I think smaller, newer companies have the advantage of not being stuck in routine and expensive office space contracts so they have to force staff in. Remote working is here to stay which is great for us mums. Interested to hear if others have struggled or have success stories. 😊
