Can I ask a simple Facebook question?

A client wants to add me as an admin to his FB business account. He messaged to say he can’t find me on there so could I add him as a friend so he can do it that way.

Am I right in thinking I can’t send a friend request to a business page?

Sorry for such a basic question, just don’t want to look a dick in front of him😬 and can’t find the answer online!

No you cant send a friend request to a business page. He probably wants you to send a friend request to his personal page, as he'll then be able to find you more easily to make you an admin of the business page.

He can find you without being friends with you though, so no need to do it if you're not comfortable with it. Maybe check your fb settings to make sure you can be found easily?

Yep it’s a personal connection, but it might be because of your privacy settings that he can’t find you.
