Hi All

I've recently dipped my toe back into the water of employment and have a lovely job but am going to be filing my tax as a sole trader. I've tried with a spreadsheet but it isn't working out for me. I wondered if anyone in a similar position had a recommendation for tax software that doesn't cost the earth but can line up my bank transactions and file with/make filing my tax easier when the time comes?

TIA

Most of the popular book-keeping software now do self assessment tax returns. My favourite is Freeagent, but both Quickbooks and Xero are also good and do the job quite simply. All have bank feeds which import your business bank transactions and you just allocate to the right analysis codes.
