Hello

I have an interview coming up for an EO role with CS and is wondering about the kind of questions for the following behaviours:

Leadership
Making effective decisions
Working together
Communicating and influence
Delivering at pace
Changing and improving

This is my first ever competency style interview and is both excited and nervous. I did look at many questions in google and got a decent understanding. But, It will be very helpful if someone who has the first-hand experience can shed some light in to this. Thanks a lot.

The job advert should say which behaviours they will be scoring you on, it should be the same behaviours as your written evidence that has already been scored

Thanks for the response @gingerninja99. Yes, I do know the behaviours they are going to assess and I have listed all of them in my question here too. So, I am wondering what kind of questions they might ask for each behaviour?

It's usually along the lines of 'give us an example of when you delivered at pace' etc and may have follow up questions depending on what you say to help you meet the markers they are scoring on.
I have had some interviewers like examples of when things have gone wrong and how you have dealt with them. Civil Service like the STAR method of evidence as it should cover everything they are looking for.

Watch your timing as usually the interviews are on a fairly strict schedule as they need to score and agree and sort paperwork before next candidate

How would you ...

You need to think STAR
