I have a job interview on Monday as a nursery assistant with children from 2 months to 12 years 🥰 I was just posting to see If anyone could help with interview questions and what type of questions to expect! Thanks xxxanks xxx

What do you know about safeguarding?

Been a long time since I worked in formal childcare but maybe something about eyfs? The different developmental areas?

You might get asked about risk assessing, for example what potential risks you'd look out for in the garden
Safeguarding will probably crop up
How you work well as a team
What you might know about a particular area of development (Google EYFS and try to learn it if you can)
If you have any experience with children
if you're happy to work long hours on insultingly low wage
