How to raise the question

Interviewed for another LA. Think it went ok...hard to tell. It was advertised as 37 hrs a week but In my application I stated I was applying for 30 hrs. ( valid reasons why)
Am I right in thinking the people
That interviewed me would be aware of my 30
Hrs a wk request?
Am expecting to hear later this week if I have been successful but how do I raise the question of fewer hours?
Obvs a moot point if I don't get any offer BUT if I am offered, what do I say?
if A reduction in hours isn't available then I'd walk away straight away.
Still weighing up the job anyway but need to have a think about what might happen.
Thanks

When offered the job ask to confirm the weekly working hours. Make this the first question you ask and if the answer is 37 hours say you will have to decline as you can only do 30 hours.

After you get a confirmation you got the job, before signing a contract. Ask beforehand the hours that you will be working and if they agree, make sure it is on your contract that you do work 30hrs.
