I'm looking for part time work and most vacancies seem to be on the agency websites.
I've been surprised that many of the ads don't state the number of weekly hours, or which days, or shift length (e.g if it's 15 hours is that 2 x 7.5 hrs on Sat and Sun, or 3 hrs every weekday?
Why don't they put this info on the ads? Is it so that you apply anyway - but then isn't it wasting everyone's time if the work pattern turns out to be one you can't do?
What is the etiquette here - are you meant to call the workplace to find out? Or are you meant to be so keen to work for them that you wouldn't mind if it was 1-3am every weekend and bank holiday?
