Finding part time finance work

I'm currently on mat leave, due to return to work in a few months.

I work in a finance role which is very heavily driven by month and quarter ends. I want to return part time, ideally I'd only want to work 2-3 days per week but I just can't see that it would be possible to do that in my current job.

Finding part time finance work seems to be difficult. Has anyone else had success finding part time finance work, or know of any types of finance work that would be suitable for part time hours.

I hate that I've spent years building myself a good career and now I feel like it's holding me back from living the family life I'd like.

Have you tried looking at those return to work sites/women in business recruitment sites, 10 to 2? I used to see roles like this. Or even contract roles, which is what I do now.

I work full time but my company is super flexible so I get to do the school run both ways, occasionally late ones but I manage it round the children. I'm a single parent in finance.

I worked in finance...I retrained after my dd was born as a bookkeeper. .I know work part time from home for a couple of small businesses.

I’ve seen part-time finance roles advertised in schools, they usually advertise on websites for local government jobs
