Work contract

Is it normal not to have access to ones employment contract when needed in other words contract on ones account online and cannot be printed & couldn't see it the last time it was looked for on personal account on work portal/system although it was not looked for thoroughly.

That sounds weird, dunno about normal. Did you get a copy with the job offer? I file mine away.

Should have got a hard copy one to keep and one to sign and return. HR should have a copy

I hope I understood properly but it was difficult as that was one sentence. But I would expect that it is up to you to keep a copy of your employment contract in a safe place.
