I hate it here.

I hate my new job. I have been here 6 weeks. The writing is on the wall.
I have already dealt with bullying and micro management. However, the main issue is the ridiculous workload. Apparently the role was done by 2 full timers and now it all falls to me. It's the type of place that doesn't replace people when they leave. Other people are breaking down over the workload but are told to just get on with it.

Obviously I need to find a new job, but I'm guessing not staying in a role for a decent amount of time, does not look good. It is very frustrating that employees are looked upon negatively in these situations.

I would be very grateful if I could have some advice on how to best approach finding something else, and explaining why I am looking for a position after such a short time.

Why did you leave your last job and go for this one? Might be easier to just leave now and knock it off your cv - depends how you are financially though and what the jobs market is like for your role. Good luck - it sounds awful.

I would apply for other things now as your current job sounds awful and it may take a while to find something else.
Are you on a probation period ? If so, it works both ways it's not just about the employer it's meant to give an employee a chance to see if things are working for them.
I don't think staying in a role for a short time will necessarily go against you especially in these times of Covid where people sometimes have to accept any job offer they get.
Concentrate on the positives of other jobs you apply for not the negatives of this role. If "why are you leaving your current job ?" comes up in an interview say you want something more challenging etc... Good luck

Yes, I am on probation. Today I found out that they reopened or did not close the job until a couple of weeks ago. The last 2 women got sacked for not keeping up with the work.

Thank you for the advice. I just hope I get something else as soon as possible, before I get sacked too!
