CACHE?

Hi,

I have recently accepted a position to be a TA in a secondary school and would like to complete a relevant qualification. Are the CACHE courses online the equivalent to an NVQ? My research seems to be fruitless!

I think the course has to be accredited by CACHE but perhaps ask the school for a recommendation as agree it is very confusing and a lot of online courses are not accredited/not valid etc. I have previously searched for a TA course for primary school and found it really difficult to determine the details and whether it is actually a recognised qualification..
Just in case it’s useful - there are lots of free teaching/education short courses on future learn that might be interesting/relevant to your new role. Good luck!
