Hate new job

Started a new job at the end of September. At first it was ok, but now my boss is starting to get at me for little mistakes I was making. I've been berated twice this week (made me feel like a child).

Now, everyone makes mistakes and I fully admit to making them. I only work part time but I dread going to work days before I'm due in.

I just want to hand my notice in and leave, and hope I can find something else. Not sure DH sees it like this though, should I just stick it out.

Sorry, this is a bit rambly... not sure what to think right now. Any advice gratefully received.

Talk to your dp, look for something else and hope you can get out of there quickly.

Any chance of havign a word with your boss and mentioning how you feel?

If it makes you really miserable, then no I wouldn't stick it out, although I would look for something else.
If you're getting feelings of dread days before your work, it must be affecting your homelife a fair bit too.

Thanks for response LMG

Boss is not known for her people skills. Doubt I'd be listened to.

Am going on job hunt next day off.

Why thank you! Good luck with the job hunt. Much easier to get a job if you've already got one iyswim.

Yeah, I remember that from my unemployed days. ta

no advice, but feel for you, am in more or less same situation and wondering what to do myself. Think i will stick it out as long as i can, whilst actively looking for something better.

Am at work tomorrow, things have been slightly better but still dreading going in.

Have talked it over with DH and we've agreed if after tomorrow I still dread going to work, I should leave.

Bit and feel awful not earning a wage. Can just about survive on DH's wage but not for long. Will need to get "anything" in new year
