I have been offered a role with the NHS working with patients in a mental health setting. They are looking for referees for the last three years. One of these roles was in a bank so a reference was straight forward.
The problem is I also worked for 3 Chinese companies as an online teacher. We are classed as independent contractors and not actually employed by them and there is very little human contact from anyone on their side. There is no number or email address I can provide that the NHS can request a reference. Two of the companies have provided me with a letter to confirm my service. I think the other one has ceased operating.
I also provided two character references as I knew there would be an issue with these companies. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
