Hi everyone,
wondering whether I could get a bit of help with the CS personal statement. I'm applying to one of the bulk campaigns for an EO position and absolutely love the sound of the job so want to give it my best.

The personal statement is 500 words and needs to align to the essential criteria - so far so good! There are only 3 essential criteria,
so should I just give an in depth STAR example for each of them, or should I also try to cover some of the key responsibilities?

Am weirdly gutted to have seen a job that I'd love before I have chance to do a couple of 'practice' CS applications.

Any help would be extremely gratefully received xx

I briefly covered some of the key responsibilities but gave good STAR examples for each of the essential criteria. I used the same theory for about 7 CS roles in a short period of time. I was selected for interview for 2 out of the 7. I did then pass the interview but accepted a role elsewhere.

Thanks so much for your reply FFM! I feel like I need some kind of intensive Hogwarts course in mastering the dark art of CS applications

Thanks! I think they must try and use candidates that they have already interviewed for future roles as I’ve been contacted three times since asking if I am open to discussing another role they are advertising. I’m guessing this means so many of the roles go before they even invite anyone else to interview.
