Hello, can anyone help me? I work for the NHS in England, currently on maternity leave and getting NHS maternity pay. I want to apply for a job with NHS Scotland and start it (if I get it!) at the end of my mat leave. But, if I don’t return to work at NHS England at the end of my mat leave will I need to repay my mat pay? I know that if you change jobs within the NHS then you don’t repay the mat pay, but not sure about what happens if I move from NHS England to NHS Scotland. Don’t want to mention it to either current or prospective new employer just yet unless I have to! If there is anyone out there who knows about this would really appreciate your advice! Thank you!
