Demoting myself - Continuity of Service?

Hi. I am applying for and likely to be given a 'demotion' at work. I do however have 25 years service and I want to ensure this doesn't alter any of my current benefits (holiday/sick/redundancy).

Anything in particular I need to put in my written acceptance?

Are those benefits related to seniority?

Not on seniority but on length of service. Eg better holidays and sick pay.

Also am in Scotland if that's any difference

In that case there’s no need to put anything. Just make sure you move straight into the new role. Your continuity will be preserved.
