New job in a heatwave

Hi all - so I’m due to start my new job on Wednesday. It’s in a period property with no air conditioning. I’m going into the office and I can’t think what to wear as I’ve been working from home for so long!

What would you wear to the first day in 30c with no air conditioning but still trying to look smart

Sleeveless smart dress or sleeveless blouse and 3/4 length trousers. Light materials.

Lots of deodorant! .

And take a flannel in a plastic bag, with you so that you can freshen up. Easier than trying to wipe your face/neck with paper towels or toilet paper!

I work in an old building without aircon, I generally wear 3/4 or 7/8 trousers with a linen shirt/top.

Lots of ice in a chillys type bottle, run wrists under the cold tap if you overheat.
