Rats at OH work place

My OH has been working for the company for 2years, and they recently moved in to another branch ‘temporarily’ they say, which is infested with rats. He was unaware of this until he had his first day there a month ago. It’s making him feel very uneasy being there as we have 3 young kids, one of which is only 3m old. He’s worried about the diseases he can bring home. He already suffers from depression & anxiety, I feel this is just making his situation worse.
Where does he stand with this situation?

Has he reported it to anyone? Have they called renokill? If not, then he could simply report them to the Environmental Health anonomously.

They will inspect.

For now, have him change his shoes outside...and then get his clothes off onto a plastic bag by the washing machine...though the chances of infection are low unless he's bitten or literally licking rat pee.

Is he in an office or a kitchen??

So yes pest control have been trying to control the situation for months now but it’s not getting under control. On the pest controls recent visit (few days ago, they come out twice a week) he said there building & 1 more in the town has the worst Rat infestation he’s ever had to deal with. They eat through the wires, recent visit from the electrician said, there’s a huge amount of rat pee in the light.
