Job interview examples

I have a interview tomorrow and I'm really struggling with examples for my interview from my current job. I have loads from a previous job but my current job isn't what I thought it would be and is really demoralising. I just spend my day filling out spreadsheets. I wanted to look for a new job as soon as I realised what it was going to be like but then became pregnant. My previous job is over two years ago now so is my experience too out of date to use in interviews?

You just need to demonstrate you have those skills and could react to the situation / problem they present, referring to past jobs is absolutely fine, after all responsibility and roles differ job too job. Good luck!

Past jobs is fine - I’d recommend sitting down and writing down the scenarios to nudge your own memory so you don’t leave things out, it’s surprising the details that come back to you when you do that.

Thank you so much! I feel like I've taken a step back career wise with my current job whereas I achieved so much in my previous job. I moved jobs to shorten my commute. Similar job description and similar company but in reality couldn't be more different. I've spent the day writing things down and practising competency interviews. Fingers crossed!

Ahh NHS bands are fairly fixed, it's like a different world. Thanks though.
