Job interview

I just had a job interview which I think went horribly. I was asked the companies values and I could not answer because I could not recall the values at all 🤦🏽‍♀️. I felt & feel so embarrassed and I don't not think I will get the job 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️.

Ouch. It’s happens, nerves obviously got the best of you leading to a thought block when you could not recall the details of the company values. It’s a stress thing, total thought block and inability to recall something you actually know. If they call to give feedback do explain yiu didnt give a good representation of yourself and it’s unfortunate. It’s a big cringe, you’ll feel embarrassed for a while. It will subside. Good luck with further interviews

Personally when interviewing I'd prefer to hire someone with the relevant skills, experience & potential to do the job, rather than someone good at memorising buzzwords. Obviously some research into the company would be expected, but I don't think remembering their values is the be all & end all, if you were otherwise a good candidate. Try not to worry too much.

I have interviewed really able candidates and on occasion some have really just had a moment were they went completely blank. If it was only that one answer and your other answers were good then it depends how they’ve scored you.

I did not get the job but then, I knew I did not do well so I was not surprised at all but recovering from the fool I made of myself at the interview.

That’s a shame. Dust yourself down.Don’t dwell on it. It’s got a high ouch factor but that’ll pass
Good luck any other posts you go for
