I hate my workplace

The job itself I enjoy.

The management, rules, process, and most staff - completely insufferable. Most days I find myself seething with hatred. I should find something else, but I’ve been there years and it pays very well.

It's just about bearable atm as I'm WFH but we are returning to the office in a couple of months and I'm absolutely dreading being in the office with my colleagues 😞

I'm retired, but I really miss my workplace, which was the bottom half of the Lake District. Used to be a service engineer, lunch overlooking Coniston, Windermere etc. Ah well.

Me the only reason I can cope with is is the current WFH I despise everything about it and just wishing another job would turn up ASAP

I relate so much right now. Every time there’s a staff meeting I can’t help but internally roll my eyes or when there’s a night out I cringe and try to find an excuse. Definitely think it’s time to move on for me! I’m making moves and booking different training courses/expanding my skills now and writing up a draft template for my dream job so when it gets advertised they can’t refuse that I’m the most suitable candidate! Biding my time at the moment!
