Help me choose between my current job and a new job offer
Current job: NHS, 33 days +BH a/l (pro-rata) work 3 days part time. 20 miles from home, busy hospital that doesn’t seem to care about it’s staff.
New job offer: private company, 25 days + BH a/l (pro rata) but 10 miles from home, smaller team and able to do 0.5WTE so drop to 2.5 days. Seem more flexible etc. But not agenda for change so no clear pay progression
Reason for applying for new job is wanting to spend more time with 18months DC and was hoping for 2 days but have to do 2.5 so will be able to drop half a day of nursery which I’m not sure will give me much more quality time.
Help me choose!
