Why am I dreading work every Sunday?

I have terrible Sunday night work anxiety, I'm sitting here now trying to think of realistic reasons for not logging on. In fact I have this every evening, dreading the next day of work.
The thing is, I get to work from home which was my choice, I work for a company that when I tell people they always say 'wow that's cool', my colleagues are all really nice, I reasonably well paid, my job description on paper is really interesting and what I've chosen to do.
Why do I always feel like I want to run away?

Because working from home sucks! Although maybe that’s just my feelings…

Whenever I get that 'Sunday night feeling' regularly it's usually telling me it's time to change jobs.

I've never had to work from home, even during lockdown, but I know I would hate it.

Feel exactly the same. Starts Sunday pm and anxiety about work makes me physically ill. I have stomach cramps most Sunday nights.
I have worked in same role for 12 years and this is a recent thing, particularly since I went back after 3 month furlough.
I know I need to get a new job and think I'm just lazy.
You sound like your job should be great and you're trying to justify something to yourself but clearly there is something which isn't right.
Like me, if you feel like this, deep down you must know you need to change something.

It sounds as though your confidence is failing. Go back to work in the office as soon as possible.

Just to add, I've worked from home for many years , pre dating covid. Its initially attractive but its actually toxic for your home/work balance.
