How much notice for interview?

How much notice is usual for an interview now? I applied for a professional/higher managerial public sector job - deadline was midnight on Monday, job details said interviews are w/c 21/06. Which struck me as not much time for shortlisting! Now we're one work day away from that week, and wondering if I'll hear anything this late?

Pre-Covid I don't think this would be usual, but it would be approx 45 mins on Teams so not like having to travel somewhere or take entire day off.

I interviewed for a job last year (unsuccessfully - I was second choice!) and got about ten days notice of the interview date/time, but that one required a presentation as well

Civil service? If so it’s standard to give 5 working days notice of interview, and the expected interview/sifting dates are often a work of fiction!

LOL, thank you!

About a week usually. If it's CS don't hold them to their sift dates, they can and do move! If you're not successful to interview you'll be told.
