Redundancy/sick leave/annual leave

Being made redundant. As I’ve been off sick all this year, I’ve accrued leave - so two weeks til I’m supposed to go, but I’ve five weeks of leave unused. How does this work? Should they pay me, or should I not go until I’ve used up my annual leave (but how do I do that when I’m on sick leave?)

They will pay you in lieu as an extra lump sum.

Thanks @MrsPinkCock. This is what I’d assumed would happen as that is what happened in my last redundancy (although it was just a couple of days then) - but this time I was told that they might ‘offer ‘ to pay me my holiday entitlement, so I’m a bit concerned! And I trust them not one bit!

That's the same thing - you will be paid for the holiday accrued & not taken within the year - will affect NI bit nervous t tax.

Thanks.
