And feel quite sad about it.
PPH was what got me started as a freelancer and in the early days all my work came from them. When they started up, their fees weren't horrendous and they were very responsive.
But now... I have moved all but one of my clients off the platform and deal with invoicing them privately, and they pay by bank transfer or paypal. My last client paid me £300 for work on Thursday, PPH too £12.60 of that, and have yet to release funds because they have a "standard agreement" that it will take 48 hours and you have to request a withdrawal before midday.
Their support is hopeless. So I've just emailed my last remaining PPH client to say I'm closing my account but would be happy to deal with her privately.
Bit sad about it really, they really lost their way somewhere. PPH used to be the go to site for proper clients and proper work, a cut above Freelancer, and Upwork and other sites which were all "you write me 50x500 words for $10". No longer it appears.
Oh well, their loss. No more fees coming their way from me.
