I didnt have time to think or discuss it with dh or anyone properly , as I thought the call may come ,and it did , today !!

Now my heads going ten to the dozen about how I could have manged it and how I couldnt.

Life has been really challenging the last few months , Im not sure Im up for adding to that right now.

I am self employed with two DSs and i have done this in the past.

And sweated about it.

However, i turned it down if i thought i couldn't give the client my very best or if my family really needed me more i.e. family crisis etc.

You will have made the right decision.

Concentrate on work you have and your family, i'm sure it'll all come good in the new year so to speak.

Hiya Joss ,thank you for replying , Im having a fight in myself about it!!! I have 2 lo's also and one of them has ongoing medical things, hopefully they will be sorted by the end of this year, but its taken its toll the last few months.Im drained from it all.

Dh said only do it if I feel I can, but I think hes also feeling it would be too much right now. Having discussed childcare costs, Id end up not seeing very much of it at all , despite the experience.

You are also right in the fact that I wouldn't be giving it my all or my best , I feel half hearted about it all right now.

I still feel like Ive given in to my feelings and not taken it on though!!!!! Its such a difference to my past incarnation in business , I would have never shirked away from anything. (Is that sentence even proper English lol?????)!!!!!

I can't really help with the dilemma........it tough all round.

Just looked at your profile - i'm an artist / illustrator so quite similar situation.

It's unbelievably difficult to get any work done with the boys at home - i think it looks ideal to people but it's often not!

Thank you for replying again , wouldnt expect one person to solve all my stuff! Just helps to write it down and see it sometimes. Also good to see how others deal with these things.
