Hi, please can anybody help?
It’s been a lonoooonnnggggg time since sending a CV off so I cannot remember the etiquette regarding the name of the person I need to address the cover letter to.

So if she is called Elizabeth Bergson Smith, for example, no Mrs Miss etc
I’m sure I don’t put Dear Elizabeth, or to whom it may concern?

I can’t put hi, or good afternoon/morning as I don’t know what time she’ll receive it..
So, how do I address her?
Please help me, I need this for tomorrow morning…

Ms Bergson Smith. Good luck!

“Dear Ms Smith” if you don’t know them.

I'd just use Dear Ms Bergen Smith. I think fewer women get pissed off by Ms than Miss/Mrs.

@PeterPipersPepper

Ms Bergson Smith. Good luck!
Thank you. I’ve updated my CV from 2014, I was so behind on paper 😁😁

I will go with that, thank you, that sounds respectable for want of a better word.
