I have been Furloughed for a year and previously on maternity leave for a year so I’ve not worked for 2 years essentially, and had worked for previous company for 7 years, finishing on a admin role for work life balance i’d held more senior positions previously. So I’ve been rejected for 2 jobs this week, interviewed for both, complete various exercises they’ve been part time admin roles what I’m looking for with a young a family. Want to keep my CV ticking over. They’re reasoning is that the positions are to low for me and I’d get bored and leave. I’ve set expectations when they ask why I’ve applied with that fact I’m looking for something to work around family life. I’m clearly not positioning myself right, do I downplay in interviews? I’m extremely frustrated!!!
