Civil service pre-employment checks limbo?

Anyone in this limbo currently? Or been through it recently? I'm transferring to another department, looks like my security clearance is complete and I know they've contacted my counter signatory but not heard anything else, but it's only been a few weeks, I know it can take a long time. This is the first time I've moved within the civil service, it's so painfully slow!!

I'm in a department that SC clears every employee - I always factor in a couple of months for it!

Thankfully my SC was dealt with really quickly, so I'm not sure what the hold up is now! I assume the other on boarding checks?!

Security service branch of civil service ? Could be running other checks depending on the sensitivity of the intelligence you'll be accessing ect ? That's my guess and I could be wrong.
