Experience after Maternity Leave

Please can you tell me your experience of returning to work after maternity leave?
I'm due back in July and have got a meeting with my boss this week with regards to flexible working. I am going to request to return 2 days a week.

Did anyone not return? To be honest I dont want to go back, I want to stay with my son in these early years

I just don't know what to do. It's come around so fast.

It's perfectly normal to feel concerned about this.

It's really important to think about your intention when it comes to returning to work and why you want to/don't want to go back.

Take time to consider what is most important to you in terms of your own personal values. It's important to distinguish between feeling overwhelmed because of change/separation anxiety and truly not wanting to go back.

Many people haven't returned many have, it all depends on your situation and needs.

Both times i have returned full time after 9 months leave, it's what works for us and our family
