Do Hmrc regularly check self employed agents of companies? Can I report them if I think the positions should be employed?

If your employer is denying you employment rights such as holiday pay, pension etc by calling you self employed and you have reason to believe that isn’t accurate, you can bring a claim at the employment tribunal.

HMRC has not checked on us in 3 years, we employ quite a few contractors - not sure if that's normal as Covid has changed this kind of thing.

I would be surprised if there are many self employed contractors left now. Most companies have been moving to Paye / umbrella company models. Very few contracts will be considered outside IR35 now (employers don’t want the hassle).
I am a contractor and I am employed by an umbrella co who second me to other companies. So I am employed but not by the company I am working for.

@ChazsBrilliantAttitude - I think it's more of an agency agreement but I've asked to see her paperwork -
