I'm a teacher (senior role) and am currently on Mat leave. My job is well paid (ish!) and I really like the people I work with, my boss is nice and my job is secure. I realise. especially in Covid times, how lucky I am.
However.... I've got 3 very young children and am dreading going back into the work/childcare/commute/school drop off nightmare. I want to be able to drop my kids off at school and then go to work, to be able to attend the odd class assembly and to pick them up from school. Obviously I can't do these in my current job . I'm well qualified with an MA and am musing possible other jobs -ones where I could have a bit of flexibility, possibly some WFH. Do such jobs exist? Am I mad?
