Are there any other out of work EAs/PAs/Admins on here - are you getting interviews?

I left my previous role to go travelling and was getting interviews a plenty just before Covid struck. Since then I have managed to obtain just three interviews (one of which was cancelled) and wonder if others find themselves in the same situation?
My last position was extremely well paid (not that I'm expecting that now) and I know my CV is good but due to the explosion of remote working I suddenly feel unemployable.

As for "transferable skills" all other similar positions seem to require direct experience plus degrees.

There’s so much competition at the moment which I’m sure you realise! What industries have you worked in, in the past and where are you based as this can make a lot of difference?

There seem to be many opportunities on LinkedIn and there are always temporary roles available.

I have been a PA/EA for years and not having a degree has never been an obstacle!

It is frustrating though especially as applications are such a faff! Good luck 😊

I wasn't out of work but i was looking for a new job in the NHS but i came from private sector. They absolutely do look for transferable skills.. I applied for 3 EA and Admin jobs and got interviews for all 3 and offered the first job i interviewed for which I'm starting in a couple of weeks. My degree wasn't relevant and I have zero sector experience. Don't give up x
