Baby/toddler group advice

Hi, I am looking to setup a baby and toddler group in my local area as we are crying out for something. I have asked for some feedback on what people want and it's a toss up between musical time and stay and play. My question is what toys would you recommend I need for stay and play? It's aimed at all ages so as much advice/ideas as possible would be fab. Thankyou in advance

Starting from scratch ?
Presumably in some sort of community hall ?

Generally, I think people appreciate the dc being able to do things that can't do in their living room at home (or that a lot of people wouldn't, because of the mess)
So you are talking about ride on toys / coupe cars / little bikes
Pushchairs and dolls
Then sand
Water trays
Crafts including painting
Playdough

But also quieter areas - books, dinosaurs

Various construction or building toys

But also zoned off areas for littler ones and those not mobile yet and different things for them to play with

Hot drinks for parents! With safety rules if you're concerned about spills and scalds.

OMG absolute no to anything messy or needing supervision. The point of toddler group for me is to be able to take my child somewhere safe I don't need to be constantly chasing and watching them, so I can have an adult conversation.

Maybe for specific sessions? But not for a general one.

Best toddler groups we went to had a slide. Ride ons/push-alongs OK if you have at least 3 - otherwise they're being fought over all the time.

My kids loved little push along cars and things like Duplo/stickle bricks are great. The click clack toys that pull along on strings are also popular. Actually just go to IKEA and buy one of everything they have. Especially the tunnel and fake Brio.
