Pls help me calculate the Annual Leave?

So someone works Wed/Thurs/Friday each week.

Their holiday entitlement is 5.6 days her year.

Obviously, most bank holidays are on a Monday with the exception of Good Friday and maybe some Xmas leave.

I have calculated that their allowance for the remainder of the holiday year is 15.5 days. I take it they keep all those days and only take Xmas and Good Friday holidays off?

This makes my brain implode.

Thanks in advance

You mean 5.6 weeks?
So 5.6 x 3 = 16.8 days
Take off any holidays that they have already had
Deduct any bank holidays that fall on any of the working days. They get to choose the rest of their days off

I am no expert but it depends on how the company works - are bank holidays given on top of allowance/ are they included in the allowance/ do employees have to take bank holidays off or can they work them etc etc...

5.6 weeks is 28 days, so working 3 days would mean they have 16.8 holiday days - most companies would then round up to 17.

28 divided by 5 = 5.6
5.6 x 3 = 16.8
