Consistent runner up

So found out I didn’t get the job I interviewed for today.
Recognised profession, but only applying for part-time (max 24 hours), and for the third interview in a row unsuccessful. For all 3 suitable and lots of experience but shaded out by someone else. Had feedback from all, nothing wrong with interview and application but runner up. Only applied for these 3 in 6 months.
Just a rant!!!

So youve got a 100% success rate for getting to interview. Dont lose sight of that.

Not currently working but the last job I applied for I was told I was the runner up. I could see and understand why but it isn't a pleasant feeling. They encouraged me to 'try again' in the same department in future but I haven't. Also, it was a very part-time job and what they were expecting for the minimal hours was incredible. Glad I didn't get it in the end. Sorry this has happened 3 times though. Very disheartening and not surprised you are wanting a rant.
