Sacked for following covid regulations?!

Help 🤯
My 17 year old was today sacked from her job in a chip shop for adhering to the regulations of the covid test :(
She has a cough and has felt generally unwell since Monday and had to go for a covid test along with my 5yo lb on Wednesday morning, she was to be in work last night and tonight so obviously because she hadn't had her test results back she had to miss work last night . So this morning her employer messaged her asking if they had came yet, she replied no and he was really cheeky to her basically saying she was to go in regardless of whether she's had her results or not :( so after this her results came this afternoon and were negative so still feeling unwell she went to work only to be shouted at by this member of staff saying that she had lied and that she had been out partying etc and she was sacked, she has sent them the proof of her test yesterday and the time her results came today she also tried explaining that we are a a house with someone clinically extremely vulnerable and that she couldn't just go out and about etc , surly this isn't fair ??
Any advice would be appreciated :) Thank you :)

How long has she worked there?
Shes not unreasonable but they are. Your poor dd

She's only been there since the beginning of December so I'm sure that's not long enough for unfair dismissal :) thank you x

Doesn’t matter. Govt website advises that being sacked for following Covid legislation is automatically unfair dismissal.

They also need reporting to public health. Horrible for your DD though.

Thank you 😊 I had been trying to find this since she got back, I was sure there was different rules regarding covid x
