Tomorrow I have a meeting with Occupational Health at work. I've been having problems with a lot of different stressors happening in my home life which have impacted my work. I am suffering with lack of sleep, which of course affects me at work and causes me to make mistakes, not learn as quickly as I normally would and so on.
I'm expecting the the OH might advise my manager that I'm not fit to be at work (in their opinion) and that I might be advised to take time off sick (something I've never done before).
I'm concerned about being off sick because I have a few interviews coming up in the next few weeks. If I'm off sick would I still be allowed to attend interviews? The interviews are jobs in the industry I'm trained in, current job was never intended to be long term (although of course I haven't said this at work).
If OH think I'm so stress/mentally and physically exhausted to be in work and want me to go off sick, would this mess up my chances of being able to attend the interviews for other jobs.
Also, would OH involvement be mentioned on my reference?
