I have been working for a few months in an Admin role for the NHS. Has anyone any experience of progression within the NHS. I'm a Band 2 and I would hope to eventually progress to Band 3, 4, possibly even 5.
Do people usually apply for jobs within their own NHS trust and do candidates already working within a trust have any advantage over applicants from outside the trust.
It makes sense to me to apply for a role I think I would enjoy regardless of which Trust it is in. Just wondered if this is what people usually do ? What would be the minimum time I should spend in a post before I start looking around. I enjoy what I am doing at the moment but am keen to progress!
