I am currently unemployed due to redundancy last year. have always worked, and quite miss it actually. I feel like my confidence has dropped massively being out of work and have been pretty stressed about money etc...
I attended an interview this week for a project assistant role. I hate interviews and I was worried my anxiety would make me cancel/or give a bad interview.
Prior to my interview I have read other postings about coping with interview nerves. Propranolol was mentioned, so I discussed this with my doctor and was prescribed Propranolol.
I have to say I am so pleased I took Propranolol prior to my interview, I still felt pretty nervous but it stopped the dreaded pounding heart beat which makes me feel sick and breathless, sweaty hands and that overwhelming anxiety feeling ..... instead I felt nervous but that was the only thing I had to cope with during the interview - what a relief!
I have been informed that I have been selected for a second interview, they were impressed and really liked me ..... this time its with the MD and a colleague. I am worried about interview questions that I might struggle to answer. I have searched the net but thought I'd post to share my experience
My interview is Friday pm - can anyone share any interview questions that you wish you prepared for? Only been given 24hrs to prep for 2nd interview eeeek! thanks :)
