Sick note

Hi, I’m just wanting abit of advice with re. to my sick note.
My GP has signed me off work until the 22nd of this month, and I work night shifts.
Does this mean, I return for my night shift on the 22nd, or return on the 23rd for my night shift?
Or could they make me go in at midnight and do half the shift, since it would fall on the 23rd?
I’m probably over thinking it all.

I'd say it ran out on the 22nd.
The night of the 23rd would make sense. Bit silly to bring you after midnight

You will be due back the night of the 23rd

What is the normal practice with others who return from sick to work nights?
Surely there's already a precedent.
