Return to work going badly - what would you ask for?

I've just returned to work after a year's maternity leave and it's not going well. I have a oone-to-one scheduled and I'm trying to come up with a list of concrete actions to request which will help.

The team has moved from office to home based. I was a valued member of staff with a varied remit but I don't seem to have a role on my return and I'm struggling to feel included. It doesn't help that my maternity cover has had his contract extended so the times I've tried setting my own tasks I've been informed he's already on it. I'm not being approached to be involved in projects and as I'm not added to meetings I can't identify gaps I can fill.

Aside from reviewing current working groups to identify which might be appropriate to join, what would you ask for if you were me?

Hi i could have written your post as I have just been back from a year long mat leave and what i have doing for ages are now all taken over by others. I was struggling to get hold of any projects/ jobs and feel not included. I spoke to my manager and told him so. I have now got my hands full and settling in better.. is it possible they are going easy with you and not overloading you with work as you are back after an year.
