I know it will vary, but I have zero idea on likely timescale.

Closing date 1 April, interviews specified 23 April. This is a dream job after a career break, for children and loss of spirit. I was a private practice family and criminal legal aid solicitor. Now doing legal admin around children.

The job description is me. I feel excited about the thought of it.

I'm quietly prepared in the hope of being given a shot at interview but wondered when it might be I would hear? Do they give a week or so to prepare?

I think there will be many internal candidates better placed than me but even applying has given me a real boost that there are things I can do well.

The job closed just before the bank holiday, so I suspect they will be shortlisting this week and interviews will be arranged next week, for interviews to be held on 23rd Apr.

Great thank you for your help. So about a week before. Was with my last firm twenty years so been a long time since I put an application together, or indeed went into an interview process.
